A Carmelite Monastery
We are Carmelites of Primitive Observance, an autonomous Monastery of the Holy Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, which lives exclusively the Liturgy and the Traditional Doctrine of the Holy Church. We follow the same line of thought, faith and fight as Archbishop Lefebvre.
We wish with you to find Beauty, Goodness and Truth, which is God! We hope to find eternal and uncreated Wisdom, through a true liturgy, in true freedom!
We begin the presentation of our monastery by placing it in time and in the history of salvation and of the order of the great prophet Elijah.
In the footsteps of our first parents: the prophets, our monastery sought to establish itself outside the cities, located between the valleys formed by the mountains of the city of Atibaia – São Paulo, Brazil. Next to the Monastery of Saint Elijah, of our brothers, the Carmelite Monks of primitive observance, who share with us the heritage of the Prophets of Mount Carmel.
Karmel Monastery rests gently under the mantle of the Virgin Mary, in the North of NORWAY, in the arctic circle, where there is no sun for three month but the light of God enlightens our souls. Our house is destined to be a small shelter for the brave soldiers of the cloisters who, in continuous struggles, never cease to burn with zeal for the Lord of Hosts and also for the oblates soldiers and friends who, even in the midst of the setbacks and difficulties of our time and of our holy Church, maintain their loyalty in the difficult battle of eternal salvation.
